Hi there! 
My name is Michael Gregory and I am so glad that you have come across my portfolio. It’s so nice to “virtually” meet you! I guess I should tell you a little bit about myself seeing as this is the "about" page.

Here's some fun facts about me: 

• I love pasta - I can quite literally eat pasta at any time and multiple days in row. In the same way that Lady Gaga loves to tell people she’s just an Italian girl from New York (linked here if you haven’t seen it), I tend to overshare how I’m Italian, so I live off a diet of pasta.

• I love a neutral brown/beige color palette - however, if you were to ask 10-year-old Michael what his favorite color is, he’d say green.

• I love overcast, cloudy & foggy days and find myself most productive in said environment

• I love comfy socks and a good blanket - I tend to be more of a homebody. When not behind the camera or out exploring the world, you can find me with a book at home.

Now that you know all of the most compelling and interesting facts about me, I will tell you some more! I am an adventurer/photographer native to the Central Valley of California - however, now based in Chicago. For me, photography has always seemed so appealing. Ever since my father let me use his camera when I was around the age of 9, I have been hooked on capturing images and moments in time that evoke emotions and connect people to stories & memories. Now, years later, photography is still an undying passion of mine. 

Beyond photography, travel is also a passion of mine. So much so that I even became a flight attendant! It’s been one of the most fun jobs I’ve ever had and it has given me so much opportunity to see the world and capture it’s beauty.
